Weekly prompts to journal on your own + group meetings

Service Description
You want a hybrid practice for your French practice: - time on your own to organize your thoughts & cultivate insightful reflexivity (time to write) - time with a group to share and discuss all together on the same topics (time to talk, listen and react) - written feedback from a teacher (time to integrate and correct) What do we do? 1. Sunday evening: weekly launch! You receive 3 questions to work through (one personal/light-hearted, one about your professional life, and one about your French journey). You choose to work on 2 of them. You also receive a challenge: we ask you to integrate a French point into both of your answers: a word, a structure, or a form of a verb at a specific tense. 2. Sunday to Wednesday: time on your own! You think about your questions and find French ways to say it. You write your answers (250 words max). 3. Thursday: group time! We meet for one hour and discuss the questions you've worked on. We give you 24 hours to integrate what has been said during the meeting and/or improve your answer (if it needs improvement) 4. Friday: feedback Your teacher gives you feedback on Friday afternoon. -> We start again on Sunday! Why it works: - brings a sense of play and novelty to your current training without destabilizing it. - a small time investment if you don't want a full hands-on training. - creates a space for your French outside of professional training: you can talk about something else and develop yourself in French on a more personal level. You're developing an authentic sense of self in French. - gives you keys to develop self-directed learning skills (which are key for a C level in French). You take the lead in your French journey: your teachers are now here to support your progress, not lead you. You take the matter into your own hands. - brings a sense of community with a safety net: you can share personal reflexivity, but you have time to prepare it first. Level requirements: you are a good B-level. You already know and use correctly: - past and future tense - pronoms compléments - full sentences with multiple verbs - easy subjonctif in short sentences. It's ok if you're still struggling sometimes with: - giving your opinion and subjonctif - building hypothesis and conditionnel In short: For B + students Groups are limited to 4 participants max. Weekly online sessions: Thursdays 2:30-3:30pm
